The ProShow gold SIG scheduled for tomorrow (Thursday, 15 April 2010) has been cancelled. This is a permanent cancelling of a specific SIG for ProShow Gold. Beginning Monday, 16 April 2010, the ProShow Gold and Photo SIGs are to be combined as one SIG and it will run from 10:00 am to Noon.

For those of you who attended the PLCC Holiday meeting on Monday and were able to view Homer Evans presentation, you have an idea of what you can do with the Pro Show Gold or Producer applications. This is the Special Interest Group (SIG) to learn about the program. We review projects some of the attendees bring and answer the questions you may have concerning the understanding of the program. Bob Graham November 19, 2009 COME ONE COME ALL PROSHOW GOLD ENTHUSIASTS Our monthly meeting is Thursday, November 19th from 1:00 – 3:00 pm Please bring in programs that you have created to share with the group, and any questions you may have. Bob, will be away on that day so I, (Homer Evans) will be filling in for him. I will have 6 template handouts that will be of help in doing more advanced movement of multiple pictures, made easy. I will play a short DVD that demonstrates the handouts and will then actually prepare the show based on the handouts. Hope to see you there with lots of questions! October 15, 2009 Digital Editing & Presentation Time: 01:00 PM to 03:00 PM This is a SIG devoted to using a very powerful, yet intuitive software program called Pro Show Gold. Participants learn how to create wonderful creative ways to present digital images (still or movie) to share with friends and family. Thursday – September 17 Bring your projects to share with the group. Also, bring questions about ‘How do I ….’ or ‘Why does this happen…’ when working with either Pro Show Gold or Producer. Bob Graham June 18, 2009 Third Thursday of June and it’s time for: Pro Show Gold SIG Same place: Bay Club Same time: 1:00pm to 3:00pm Purpose: understand Pro Show Gold Bring questions and projects to share. Don’t worry about not being an expert in Pro Show Gold. No experience is necessary, only curiosity. The main limit on the use of the application is your imagination. Bring your projects (on CD, DVD or Flash Drive) and share the techniques of your creation. Critique and suggestions will be at hand. Questions about Pro Show Gold and its tools will be welcome. I had it changed at the Bay Club and it is reserved for the 12:30pm – 2:30pm slot (for this particular meeting only!). Bob is going to be out of town for both the 12th and the 19th and we are gone on the 19th so I volunteered to run it in his absence. We will do our best to give answers (understandable type) and review your projects constructively. Homer Evans has recently purchased Producer and will give a review of the differences between it and Pro Show Gold. Enough of the excuses. The Pro Show Gold SIG will be at the Bay Club tomorrow (Dec. 18th) 1:00pm to 3:00pm. Bring your projects for the group to view and learn about the techniques you used to produce the event. We’ll go through some of the tricks and tips after the Q & A. (Bring questions). On Monday (December 22nd) the regular monthly Photography SIG will be held at the Bay Club 10:30am to Noon. Bring your questions and images (on disk or flash drive) and we will do our best to answer them in understandable English. After the Q & A, we will look at using Photo Editing to restore images and some of the techniques which make the job easier. Come and share in the learning process. See you there! to be.
