This new SIG started out with a General Meeting (Topic: "Email"with Dick Allyn and Matt Wallace) and was followed up by a Special SIG on the following Monday (Monday After: Special SIG: EMAIL).

The outline of the presentation is available here.
You find the text for the Announcement of this Presentation below.

If you are puzzled or confused by all the terms about Email, if you want to gain some understanding to better use Email, If you want to remove the clouds of “techie talk” about Email; plan to attend the May General Meeting of the Port Ludlow Computer Club for an evening of discussion on Email “nuts and bolts”.

Learn about servers, settings, webmail, clients, attachments, etc . . . in English! No tech speak, no in depth explanation about everything that you didn’t want to know about Email. PLCC members will present a program of easily understood facts that will improve your use and understanding of Email. The panel will then open the floor to attempt to answer your questions or difficulties with Email.

Join them at the Bay Club on Monday evening, May 10, for a social time with coffee and cookies at 5:30. The presentation begins at 6:00. You don’t have to be a member to attend; PLCC General Meetings are open to all.
