The Warren Berg Scholarship

In April, 2006, the Warren Berg Scholarship was created by the Port Ludlow Computer Club. The purpose of the scholarship is to help students at Chimacum High School who are continuing their education in computer science.

Funding for the scholarship is accomplished by several means:

  1. The recycle of printer ink cartridges. Pre-addressed (with bar code return address) are available in the entrance of the Bay Club. Just drop your ink cartridge into the envelope, seal it and mail. A check is sent to the Port Ludlow Computer Club each month from the recycle organization and is included in the scholarship fund.
  2. An annual auction event is scheduled each year as one of the General Meetings. Donated computer articles are auctioned and the proceeds are included in the Warren Berg Scholarship fund.
  3. Other activities or arrangements are being investigated to increase the level of funding.

This is a way of giving back to the community and furthering the educational interests of a Chimacum High School student.
